Flipped Classrooms. Yes, Again!

Hi everyone!

Today, we will continue with the flipped classroom. However, this time I will introduce you to our flipped video for grammar teaching.

My friends Sude, Esma, and I got together to create our flipped video. First, we chose our topic from the coursebook high school prep students are using, which is relative clauses. After we decided on the topic, we examined the unit where the topic takes part. The unit is basically about the digital era and social media. Therefore, we wanted to create something related to that unit and decided to use a Padlet wall. Sude was the teacher who wrote an explanatory post for the relative teacher while Esma and I were the students who added the examples and comments. Then we made a screencast and edited it in Kapwing

One of the challenges we have was to make something both interesting and relevant to this unit. And the other issue was that our video was too long and most of the editing apps have a time limit. Even when they don't have any limit, they reduce the quality 😞. However, we did our best to make it better in quality.

After our video was ready, we uploaded it to the Edpuzzle and added some open-ended questions during the video. Here is our video! 👇

In addition to this, we also prepared a Wordwall activity to go along with it. Here is our activity. 👇

That's was all for today's post. If you have anything you want to share with me, you can write a comment down below or mail me with the contact form.
