Have you heard about WebQuests?

Hi everyone,

As you see in the title, today we'll be talking about WebQuests!
If you haven't heard of it, Dr. Bernie Dodge, the creator of WebQuests, explains it as good teaching with the web. In WebQuests, the material learners use comes from the web, and teachers' job is to give them this material in their WebQuest with a great deal of instruction.

For the topic of our WebQuest, Sude and I chose one of the projects in the coursebook that prep schools use. The project was originally to create a superhero(ine) character and make it a poster. However, we turned it into a picture book so that students have more space to introduce their characters. For this, we use StoryJumper.

To create our WebQuest, we created a website in Canva. We also use Canva to create the graph showing the elements of a plot and the storyboard template. Besides, Sude created a video to teach what the elements are by showing hopscotch as a metaphor. -Special thanks to her sister, Avzem- And I created a screencasting video to show how to use the StoryJumperTo see our WebQuest, click here.
